General Purpose of the Job
Maintain Accounts Receivable business partner accounts by printing invoices, proofing, mailing, processing payments, making collection calls, conducting credit checks, and maintaining files.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities- Proof read sales orders and customer purchase orders regarding accounting concerns (terms, bill to, sales tax, applicable notes).
- Monitor customers ongoing to allow shipments.
- Proofread shipping paperwork.
- Print invoices and mail or submit through the internet.
- Update Shipping Log.
- Validate and record customer payments.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable open and closed files.
- Resolve discrepancies.
- Perform intercompany confirmations activities.
- Perform collection efforts to maintain current business partner accounts.
- Set up new business partners in ERP LN.
- Conduct credit checks on new and current business partners.
- Collect tax exempt certificates and update database.
- Perform account analysis.
- Maintain reports as needed (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Consolidated reporting for TLA Power Divisions.
- Maintain daily banking transaction reports.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor email.
- Create journal entries.
- Apply accounts payable knowledge.
- Show willingness to cross‑train in other areas.
- Exhibit strong attention to detail.
Experience
:
One to three years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Education
:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Language Skills
:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
Computer Skills
:
Intermediate skills in Excel; ability to navigate and use the internet/intranet, MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Access), and company cross‑functional ERP software; limited troubleshooting ability.
Mathematical Skills
:
Ability to use a calculator for basic math (addition, subtraction, division, percentages).
Reasoning Ability
:
Intermediate skills in applying common sense to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions; dealing with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Sitting – Over 2/3 of day;
Using hands to handle or feel – Over 2/3 of day;
Reaching with hands and arms – Over 2/3 of day;

Vision Requirements:
Close vision (clear vision at 10‑20 inches).
Occasionally required to lift 25 lbs. or less to re‑organize area or pack and move boxes for storage and move paper boxes from printer to printer.
Work EnvironmentModerate noise (e.g., business office with computers and printers, light traffic).
Salary RangeThe starting hourly rate for this role is between USD $25.00 to $30.00. The actual base depends on training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also qualify for variable bonus programs and benefits.
