Automotive Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our dealership office team. This role supports the daily accounting operations of the dealership, including deal posting, contracts in transit, vehicle payoffs, commission balancing, time clock review, and general office support
.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers, paperwork, deadlines, and multiple departments in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will work closely with our accounting, sales, finance, and management teams to help ensure deals and daily office tasks are handled accurately and efficiently.

Post contracts in transit funds each morning
Finalize and post booked deals into accounting, including:
New vehicle deals
Used vehicle deals
Wholesale deals
Dealer trades
Courtesy deliveries
Dealer-to-dealer swaps
Balance sales floor commission sheets for finalized deals
Process customer trade-in loan payoffs to Ford and other lenders
Process floor plan payoffs for sold vehicles
Review employee time clock entries daily for accuracy
Order minor office supplies for dealership departments
Assist with reviewing and analyzing deals once they are received in accounting
Help support the accounting office during busy periods, overflow, or special projects
Assist with stocking in vehicles for same-day sales when additional support is needed
Previous accounting, bookkeeping, office administration, or dealership office experience preferred
Automotive dealership experience is a strong plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with numbers, paperwork, and computer systems
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks throughout the day
Good communication skills and ability to work with different departments
Reliable, professional, and willing to help where needed
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
