AP Specialist; Temporary

Position: AP Specialist (Temporary)
Location: Belmar

Soni is partnered with agrowing organization who is seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to support its finance team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role will focus on invoice processing, vendor communication, and reconciliation activities while ensuring accuracy and timely completion of accounts payable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review vendor invoices in a high-volume environment

• Perform invoice matching and resolve invoice discrepancies

• Respond to vendor and internal accounts payable inquiries

• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding items

• Assist with expense report auditing and payment research

• Maintain accurate records and support the AP team with daily operations

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience

• Experience working in a high-volume AP environment

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

• Experience working with ERP systems or AP software

Compensation: $23 - $25/ Hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
