Overview
Our client, a growing manufacturing company in the Fairfield area, is seeking to hire a Staff Accountant to join their team. This role offers growth potential and flexibility.
Salary/Hourly Rate$88k - $95k
Position OverviewThe Staff Accountant will join a team of two and report directly to the Assistant Controller. The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant role should have strong communication skills and close attention to detail.
Responsibilities- The Staff Accountant will manage the AP & AR process weekly.
- Assist in the month- and year-end closes.
- Process account reconciliations.
- Monthly journal entries.
- Assist with some reporting and budgeting.
- 3+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Net Suite.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
