Our client is a tech-forward CPA firm that is growing fast and doing things differently. They are looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant to their team. You will be part of a sharp, collaborative team that values initiative, invests in development, and gives you real client exposure.
Salary/Hourly Rate$90k - $100k
Position OverviewOur client is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant who’s ready to step into a high-impact role supporting both individual and business tax engagements. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to sharpen their technical skillset, build strong client relationships, and gain exposure to more complex work, including multi-state and international matters—while continuing to grow their career in public accounting.
Responsibilitiesof the Senior Tax Accountant
- Prepare individual and business tax returns across a variety of entity types.
- Support tax planning, projections, and targeted research to help clients make smart decisions.
- Work directly with clients to gather information, clarify questions, and keep deliverables moving.
- Assist with multi-state filings and coordinate requirements across jurisdictions.
- Spot opportunities to streamline processes and use tech/tools to work smarter.
- Partner with the team to hit deadlines, especially during peak tax cycles.
- Strong foundation in U.S. tax compliance for both individuals and business entities.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Clear, confident communicator who’s organized and detail-driven.
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 4 - 7 years of tax experience, with recent experience in a CPA firm environment, is strongly preferred.
- CPA license (or actively pursuing).
- Exposure to multi-state tax filings and/or international tax considerations.
- Experience supporting tax planning and research.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
- Hybrid schedule.
