A well-established waste management company located near Manalapan Township, NJ, is looking for a Billing Supervisor.

JOB DUTIES

- Manage a team of billing specialists/clerks.

- Supervise and coordinate the billing department to facilitate timely, accurate, and efficient billing operations.

- Communicate job expectations; monitor and appraise job contributions.

- Analyze billing data and develop reports for management.

- Resolve invoice disputes and maintain quality customer relations.

- Improve billing efficiency when possible.

- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and errors.

- Identify variances and implement corrective actions.

- Ensure invoices reflect negotiated payment terms and conditions.

- Contribute to the development of processes and procedures with management.

- Receive, process, and post daily payments from the Scale

- Participate in assigned trainings and pursue educational opportunities.

- Ensure accuracy and compliance in invoicing and accounts receivable, process payments, and resolve customer inquiries.

- Resolve invoice disputes and maintain quality customer relations.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

+ 5yrs plus Billing experience

+ Degree or working towards preferred

+ Experience in the waste industry a plus

+ Supervisory experience

+ Strong computer skills
