Sr. Tax Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Tax Specialist to join a public accounting team, supporting a diverse client portfolio across individual, fiduciary, and business returns. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review federal and state tax filings for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring completeness and accuracy across a range of return types.
• Support tax planning efforts by assisting with projections, evaluating planning opportunities, and contributing to year-end advisory recommendations.
• Research tax issues, interpret applicable guidance, and document findings in a clear and well-supported manner.
• Work directly with clients to obtain financial records, clarify outstanding questions, and keep engagements moving efficiently.
• Coordinate with team leadership and team members to deliver tax projects on schedule and in line with quality expectations.
• Organize and maintain thorough work papers that align with quality standards and internal documentation practices.
• Oversee multiple assignments at once, adjusting priorities as needed to meet filing deadlines and client commitments.
