Staff Accountant

We are seeking a staff accountant to join our team in Bergen County, New Jersey. As part of our team, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the processing and payment of invoices in our accounts payable department
• Overseeing the collection and recording of payments in our accounts receivable department
• Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in our financial data
• Maintaining the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Preparing journal entries and posting them to the appropriate accounts
• Assisting with the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Utilizing various accounting software such as netsuite, oracle, quickbooks, and sap to manage financial data
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and keeping up-to-date with changes in the financial industry.
