Our client, awell-established smallbusinessin the Trenton, NJ area, is seeking a hands-on Controller/CFO to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial, family-owned environment whereno two days are the same. The ideal candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats, partnering directly with ownership, and contributing across accounting, finance, HR, and office operations.

The position offers a strong work-life balance with a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsiteand 1 dayremote. Local candidates only.

• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations and reportregularly to ownership.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships,and compliance withbank covenants.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and all otheraccounting and finance functions.
• Lead the monthly financial close processand ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Coordinate sales anduse tax filings, quarterly reporting, and work closely with the company'sCPA firm.
• Partner with anHR Generalist tooversee human resourcesfunctions.
• Manage front officeadministrative operations as needed.
• Support leadership with financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor'sdegree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation required(active or previously held).
• Experience using Quick Books Online .
• Previous experience workingin asmall, family-ownedor entrepreneurial organization.
• Strong accounting, financial management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrivein a hands-onrole with diverse responsibilities.
