Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience with financial reporting, technical accounting, equity transactions, and audit support in a dynamic environment.

• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules related to equity, stock-based compensation, and other accounting transactions.
• Assist with technical accounting research and preparation of accounting memos.
• Support financial reporting, accounting policy documentation, and internal control initiatives.
• Assist with equity administration, including tracking issuances, modifications, and terminations.
• Provide audit support by gathering documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Support accounting for acquisitions and other complex transactions.
• Partner with finance leadership to improve processes and strengthen reporting controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• 1+ years of accounting experience; public accounting internship or experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting research.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
