Accomplished Accounting Leader Needed

We are looking for an accomplished accounting leader to oversee financial operations for a growing manufacturing organization in Parsippany, New Jersey. This role is suited for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who can guide a multi-level team, maintain strong reporting discipline, and contribute in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment. The position offers broad visibility across the business and requires a leader who can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the month-end and year-end close cycle, ensuring financial results are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
• Lead daily accounting activities across core functions while maintaining strong internal controls and consistent reporting practices.
• Manage and develop a team of accounting staff, including leadership-level team members, by setting priorities, reviewing output, and supporting performance growth.
• Prepare and review financial statements and related reports for internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and executive partners to support business decisions, operational planning, and financial transparency.
• Monitor accounting processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support organizational scalability.
• Support the financial needs of a private equity-backed business environment by delivering reliable analysis and responsive accounting leadership.
• Contribute to coordination across domestic and international business activities when needed, helping maintain consistency in financial oversight.
