Bookkeeper

Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team and take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping functions of the organization.

Responsibilities:

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

+ Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

+ Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits

+ Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

+ Maintain the general ledger and supporting documentation

+ Prepare basic financial reports and account summaries

+ Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with collection efforts

+ Research and resolve discrepancies in financial records

+ Assist with payroll and other administrative accounting functions as needed

+ Work closely with management and the accounting team to ensure financial information is accurate and timely

Requirements

+ 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

+ Strong understanding of basic accounting principles

+

Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

+

Experience with accounting software/ERP systems

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
