Accounting Operations Specialist

Our client is seeking a contract accounting operations professional to provide maternity leave coverage. The role requires administrative and transactional processing experience with a focus on AR and AP in a fast-paced produce importing and distribution environment. The consultant will learn and operate specialized systems while supporting day-to-day accounting workflows.

Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

• Support daily AR and AP transaction processing with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist with invoice generation, receipt application, and vendor payment runs.
• Maintain documentation and records within specialized accounting systems.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams.
• Contribute to process continuity and coverage during the maternity leave period.

• Hands-on AR/AP processing experience in a dynamic operations environment.
• Proficiency with administrative accounting tasks and data entry.
• Ability to learn and navigate specialized or proprietary systems.
• Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures and deadlines.
• Experience in distribution or importing environments preferred.
