Position: Secretary to the Principal - Anticipated
Location: Osborn Mills

The Harding Township Board of Education is accepting applications for a Secretary to the Principal. This is a full time, negotiated 12-month position with benefits. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2026.

Qualifications
  • Mininum High School diploma/GED college preferred.
  • School experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, computer and phone skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate with staff, parents, students, and the public.
  • Highly proficient in or ability to immediately learn Microsoft Office, Google Suite for Education, Genesis (or other student data system,) Frontline Education software, and other educational software programs.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong ethical integrity, maintain confidentiality, and exhibit good moral character and initiative.
  • Ability to effectively manage their time, think critically, and problem solve job related issues.
  • Consistently make positive contributions to maintain a productive, enjoyable, and rewarding environment for everyone in our school community.
  • Responsibilities and Duties
  • Receive, process, forward and respond to calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.
  • Perform office routines including preparation of school reports, correspondence, notices and agendas under the direction of the principal.
  • Maintain accurate records as directed by the principal.
  • Word process efficiently and utilize programs in Microsoft Office and Google Suite for Education and other software programs.
  • Participate identifying needs and utilizing supplies and materials effectively and efficiently.
  • Assume responsibility and respond proactively to situations as they arise.
  • Establish and maintain good public relations.
  • Independently complete specific tasks related to individual location/assignment.
  • Organize and coordinate year end school activities, including Graduation, software rollovers, initializing report cards
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
