NOTICE OF POSTING OF JOB VACANCY

Position: Records Clerk
This vacancy exists due to an anticipated retirement and is a full-time position with the Wall Township Police Department.
Under the direction of the Chief of Police and the Records Supervisor, the Records Clerk will be responsible for:
- Data entry, filing and scanning records.
- Answering phones and providing customer service.
- Processing requests for information under the Open Public Records Act, rules of discovery in criminal, civil or motor vehicle court proceedings.
- General office administration.
- Daily interaction with the public.
- Safeguarding confidential information.
- Working independently.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Willingness to learn additional software programs.
- Previous experience in a municipal or government environment preferred but not required.
Compensation:
- Starting Salary: $37,500 with an excellent benefit package.
