Pro Smile is seeking to hire a Treatment Plan Coordinator who is customer focused, compassionate, and dedicated to facilitating solutions to patients’ dental health needs. The coordinator will work in a growing practice with a supportive team, taking on roles that include patient outreach, financial counseling, and appointment coordination.
Duties and Responsibilities- Internalize the role of patient concierge, building trust by demonstrating an attitude of care and service.
- Make welcome calls to all new patients, answer initial questions, and set expectations for the first visit.
- Receive patients on their first visit, assist with paperwork and welcome packets, ensuring smooth flow throughout the visit.
- Present and explain all treatment plans, detailing out-of-pocket costs to patients.
- Assist patients in payment options, including payment plans and Care Credit, explaining financial options clearly.
- Check patients in and out, schedule and confirm appointments, and manage paperwork such as charts and referral forms.
- Maintain control of patient payments and insurance statements, reinforcing office financial policy and ensuring payments are current.
- Prepare and present financial treatment plans; coordinate arrangements with patients offering payment options.
- Identify, alert front desk, and collect previous balances and copays.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Dental experience required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer competent and able to work a multi-line phone system.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Professional and compassionate demeanor.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure patient satisfaction.
