Administrative Support Specialist – Bernardsville Borough
Seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and customer service-focused individual to support the Zoning, Planning, and Construction Offices.
Responsibilities- Assisting residents and contractors;
- Processing zoning, tree, construction permit, and rental housing registration applications;
- Responding to phone calls and email inquiries;
- Preparing deposits and monthly reports;
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems;
- Processing OPRA requests;
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and proficiency with standard office software. Experience in a municipal office and familiarity with MSI and SDL software are preferred.
Salary and BenefitsSalary: $50,000 plus benefits, including vision coverage, Borough-paid dental insurance, participation in the Borough's Flexible Friday Program, and eligibility for PERS.
