Finance Assistant & Board of Health Liaison - Chester Borough

Is looking for a highly organized individual who can assist the public and has exceptional multitasking capabilities. Diversified duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Liaison to the Board of Health and Health Department of Bernard’s Township.
  • Processing applications and results involving food licensing, septic’s, wells, and dog licensing.
  • Responsible for OPRA requests and coordination, scheduling, and attending monthly Board of Health meetings after business hours and generating minutes.
  • Primary responsibilities include tax billing, tax collection, and processing bank deposits.
  • Experience with municipal finance and tax collection;
    Edmunds experience is a plus but not required.
  • Seasonal pool registration involves interacting with the public, pool staff, and representatives from Community Pass.
  • Light-department cross training and updating various logs.

Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 dependent on qualifications and experience.
