the Position of Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and maintain the safety of team members.

About the Position of Service Manager

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive the sales initiatives of Mavis. They communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair and maintenance information, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • One year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, OR one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, OR any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
