Overview
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full‑time Automotive Detailer. The starting rate of pay is $17.50 per hour based on a 40 hour workweek. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance. This position is located at 379 Route 46W Rockaway, NJ 07866. - Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols.
- Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle’s exterior, working on cars, vans, and trucks.
- Check fuel level, warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset or restore vehicle settings; locate customer items and place them in Lost & Found; verify registration is current and matches the license plate.
- Check fluid levels, add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
- Fuel and stage vehicle.
- Inspect for safety concerns; report warning lights and any damage; remove vehicle from prep processing as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
- Assist customers when needed, including transport to and from branches.
- Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning interior and exterior of branch locations.
- Perform miscellaneous site‑appearance tasks such as vacating floors, sweeping the lot, and other daily cleanliness duties.
- Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle; must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for any work‑authorization document now or in the future.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Must live within a reasonable commute of no more than one hour from the location.
- Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
First‑time drivers and individuals under 21 years old must complete the mandatory Graduated Driver License (GDL) program requirements. New Jersey’s GDL program introduces driving privileges gradually for first‑time drivers and those under 21.
