! We're looking for full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state-of-the-art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the West Berlin, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. Our Mechanics carry out undercar repairs such as brakes, struts, and shocks. They also complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

To be eligible, applicants must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, possess 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, and have a comprehensive toolbox of personal tools for undercar repairs.

Preferred qualifications include state inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Active employees are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. Mechanics must regularly lift or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
