Entry-Level Automotive Parts Counterperson
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Entry-Level Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for assisting technicians and customers with parts requests, looking up and ordering automotive parts, maintaining inventory, and working closely with the Service Department to help keep repairs moving efficiently.
No previous automotive parts experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and an interest in building a long-term career in the automotive industry.

- Assist service technicians, dealership employees, and customers with automotive parts requests in a professional and timely manner
- Use dealership parts systems and manufacturer catalogs to look up, price, and order the correct parts
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers and technicians at the parts counter
- Receive incoming parts deliveries and accurately stock, label, and organize inventory
- Work closely with the Service Department to ensure technicians receive the parts needed to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Maintain accurate parts records and follow dealership inventory procedures
- Help keep the Parts Department, counter, shelves, and storage areas clean and organized
- Learn dealership parts systems, department processes, and manufacturer programs through hands‑on training
- No previous automotive parts experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule
- Comfortable using computers and learning new dealership systems and software
- Organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to accurately manage multiple parts requests
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Self‑motivated, dependable, and willing to learn
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- An interest in automobiles is a plus, but not required
