Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate II

As a Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate II at Car Max, you'll restore the look and feel of pre owned vehicles through expert cosmetic repairs and detailing. Working in our Automotive team, you'll perform interior and exterior reconditioning, light scratch and paint correction, and quality inspections to meet Car Max appearance standards. You'll partner with service and sales teams to ensure vehicles are retail ready on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform cosmetic reconditioning, interior and exterior detailing, and light scratch removal on used vehicles to Car
• Max standards
• Inspect vehicles for cosmetic defects and document required work in the system
• Safely operate buffers, polishers, vacuums, and related shop equipment
• Apply cleaning products and minor touch up processes following safety and quality guidelines
• Work closely with reconditioning, service, and sales teams to meet production timelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with Car
• Max policies
• Follow standard operating procedures and quality checks for every vehicle
• Use handheld or desktop systems to update repair status and communicate completion
• Support training of entry level associates by sharing best practices
