The Program

At Novo Nordisk, interns will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable, hands-on, full-time work experience. For ten weeks, interns will be immersed in the environment of a global pharmaceutical company and contribute to the line of business by providing sustainable and meaningful project work. Our internship program also includes instructor led trainings, a leadership engagement series, and a guided mentorship program to offer professional and personal development.

In addition to individual department responsibilities, interns will also participate in the program's capstone event, the Innovation in Action Case Competition. Assigned to cross-functional teams, interns will work closely to develop an innovative and comprehensive solution to a business problem currently facing Novo Nordisk. At the conclusion of the program, teams will present their findings to a board of top Novo Nordisk officials representing the various lines of business.

The Position

The intern will serve as a critical partner to the National Execution team, supporting field execution across Sales Areas. This internship offers exposure to national commercial execution, analytics, and cross-functional leadership, while enabling the intern to make meaningful contributions to real-world business priorities within the Deployment, Innovation and National Execution team.

Key responsibilities will focus on Field Support & Issue Triage such as assisting with Novo Care Pharmacy. The intern will focus on managing and routing questions or issues received from the field to the appropriate partners. Another core project will focus on partnering with Market Access and the National Director of Virtual Sales to support the addition and removal of Telehealth HCPs.

Another key project will be to focus on execution Analytics & Insights such as supporting trending and analysis of key execution KPIs to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities for Sales Areas. They will prepare clear summaries and visuals to support leadership discussions (i.e. National KPI Dashboard Development, Synthesize existing area-level dashboards (Excel, Tellius, and other tools) into a consolidated national view).

They will then collaborate with IT to help design and build a dynamic, scalable national dashboard accessible to all areas.

Qualifications

* Must be a current student enrolled or recently graduated (graduation date no earlier than April 2026) at/from an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor's degree

* A completed or in progress undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline preferred

* Class year of a Junior or Senior preferred

* Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

* Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
