Raw Material Purchasing Specialist

Overview and Key Functions

We are seeking a Senior Raw Materials Specialist Buyer, based in Bogotá, Colombia, who will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of regional negotiations in the assigned Raw Materials category, as well as the continuous supply of raw materials, supplies and/or services in accordance with the company's needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in dispatch management, costs and personnel management.

Key responsibilities

* Achieve the best negotiations and purchasing efficiencies through market analysis and regional and global integration with other company units.

* Ensure the timeliness of RFPs organised by the Procurement group.

* Ensure continuous and strategic supply in accordance with internal customer needs and company policies.

* Establish work plans to improve the management of product categories, services and procurement.

* Ensure the smooth running of the purchasing and supply process.

* Submit local and regional reports and reports in a timely manner.

Who We're Looking For?

* Professional degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, International Trade or related fields; specialisation in areas related to the position is desirable.

* 2 to 5 years of experience in related positions.

* Advanced level of English, knowledge of auditing, purchasing, digital tools, Incoterms and advanced Excel.

Buscamos un Comprador Sr. Especialista Raw Materials, con sede en Bogotá, Colombia quién deberá garantizar la efectividad de las negociaciones region ales en la categoría de Materias primas asignada, así como el abastecimiento continuo de materias primas, suministros y/o servicios de acuerdo con las necesidades de la compañía el candidato ideal tendrá experiencia en gestión de despachos, costos y manejo de personal.

Principales responsabilidades

* Lograr las mejores negociaciones y eficiencias en compras a través de análisis de los mercados e integración regional y global con otras unidades de la compañía.

* Garantizar la oportunidad de los RFP organizados por el grupo de Procurement

* Garantizar el abastecimiento continuo y estratégico de acuerdo con las necesidades de los clientes internos y a las políticas de la empresa.

* Establecer planes de trabajo para mejorar el manejo de Categorías de productos, servicios y contratación.

* Garantizar el buen funcionamiento del proceso de compras y abastecimiento

* Presentar oportunamente informes y reportes locales y region ales.

¿ A quién estamos buscando?

* Profesional en Administración de Empresas, ciencias económicas, ingeniería industrial, negocios internacionales, comercio internacional o afines, deseable especialización en áreas afines al cargo.

* De 2 a 5 años de experiencia en cargos relacionados.

* Nivel de inglés avanzado, conocimientos en auditoría, conocimiento en compras, manejo de herramientas digitales, incoterms y Excel avanzado.
