Sales Analyst, CRM System, Business Development, Sales Development Rep/SDR
VMC Group is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Specialist to support our sales organization through CRM management, sales analytics, reporting, and process optimization. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate customer and opportunity data, supporting the sales team, and providing actionable insights that drive business growth.
The Sales Force Specialist will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Engineering, and Operations to improve sales effectiveness, streamline processes, and enhance the customer experience across VMC Group's portfolio of vibration isolation, seismic restraint, noise control, and shock protection solutions.
Responsibilities not limited to:Sales Enablement & Team Support
- Serve as a day-to-day resource for the sales team, providing guidance on CRM usage, opportunity management, and sales processes.
- Support sales and marketing campaigns through Salesforce campaign management, lead tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor CRM adoption and data quality, partnering with sales leadership to improve compliance and pipeline visibility.
- Collaborate on user training, and ongoing coaching on Salesforce best practices.
- Assist with pipeline reviews, opportunity management, and sales activity tracking to support accountability and forecasting accuracy.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure alignment of processes, data, and customer information.
- Develop and maintain sales dashboards, KPI reports, and executive summaries.
- Analyze sales trends, pipeline performance, customer activity, and forecast accuracy.
- Generate regular reports for sales leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance through data-driven insights.
- Evaluate and improve sales processes, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Create and maintain sales procedures, documentation, and training materials.
- Support implementation of CRM enhancements, automation tools, and system upgrades.
- Partner with Marketing and Customer Service to improve lead management and customer engagement processes.
- Support sales forecasting and revenue planning activities.
- Monitor pipeline progression and identify potential risks or growth opportunities.
Assist with territory management, account planning, and sales performance tracking.
- Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on customer requirements and project execution.
- Support strategic initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Assist with special projects and business process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Analytics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, CRM Administration, Sales Support, or Business Analytics.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM administration and reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hybrid – 3 days in office/2 days remote
- Salesforce Administrator Certification.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting and analytics tools.
- Experience supporting a technical, industrial, manufacturing, or engineering-based sales organization.
- Knowledge of lead management, forecasting, and sales pipeline methodologies.
