About the role (on site Northvale NJ)
- The Big Picture:
Revenue: $200M+ annual Inventory Optimization:
You’ll play a huge role in optimizing inventory to drive sales, turn, and cash flow.
What We’re Looking For:
A BS degree in business or a related field preferred; 2+ years in demand, inventory, or financial planning. Familiarity with demand planning software, advanced Excel knowledge and strong analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, organization, and project management experience.
What you'll do
- Assists in planning the company wide forecast for all channels – Ecommerce, Amazon and Wholesale.
- Coordinate inventory from purchasing to warehouse arrival. Ensuring optimal inventory levels at the style, line, and sku level to drive profitable sales.
- Forecast capabilities include line level monthly demand plan used as an internal tool with components shared with factories and 3pl partners.
- Coordinate with International partners to forecast and plan non-USA business at the line level.
- Partner with VP of Merchandising on new product assortment, forecast and maintaining active catalog.
- Delivers in depth reporting on all aspects of the demand plan. Provides key insights into any issues, opportunities or risks within the plan to the organization.
- Analyzes sku level detail for size and width planning and purchasing strategies.
- Collaborate with finance, merchandising and senior leadership in monthly consensus meetings reviewing merch plan, demand plan and supply plan.
- Manage product attribute data library within ERP/PLM to keep accurate catalog information and collaborate with all functions for consistency.
- Assist with process for end-of-life product lifecycle planning and selling execution.
- Place all purchase orders directly with factories, confirming receipt and XF date expectations.
- Communicate with factory leads for production plan with each factory, delivering updates to the organization on arrival and prioritizing according to business needs.
- Partner with 3pl providers to ensure efficiency and inline costs. Provide frequent forecasts for labor planning and active inbound inventory.
Salary range 70k-80k
