Transaction Processing Associate III

Conduent State & Local Solutions, Inc. seeks a Transaction Processing Associate III to support mission-critical programs for state and local government clients. In this role, you will perform complex, high-volume transaction processing, validate data for accuracy and compliance, resolve exceptions, and support audits and reporting. You will use multiple systems and tools, follow strict security and regulatory standards, and help refine workflows.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff while contributing to efficient, reliable public services in a performance-driven, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify high-volume financial and transactional data accurately and on schedule for state and local government clients
• Review transactions for completeness, compliance, and data integrity, resolving discrepancies and escalating exceptions as needed
• Use transaction processing and case management systems to enter, update, and reconcile records
• Monitor workflow queues and service-level metrics, prioritizing tasks to meet contract and performance standards
• Generate routine reports and summaries to support audits, billing, and performance tracking
• Collaborate with supervisors, quality teams, and peers to implement process improvements and standard work
• Follow strict security, confidentiality, and regulatory guidelines for handling sensitive government and citizen information
• Support training and mentoring of junior associates by sharing best practices and troubleshooting issues
