Daycare Teacher (Closing Shift)

Location:

The Learning Experience – Ledgewood, NJ Pay: $16–$17 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM or 9:30 AM–6:30 PM

The Learning Experience – Ledgewood is seeking a dependable and caring Daycare Teacher to support our classrooms during the afternoon and closing hours. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and helping create a calm, structured, and engaging end-of-day environment.

Our center serves infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in a safe, nurturing, and play-based learning setting.

• Support classroom activities and routines during afternoon and closing hours
• Assist with transitions, meals, rest time, and end-of-day procedures
• Engage children in play-based learning and age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Communicate professionally with families during pick-up
• Prepare classrooms for the following day
• Follow all New Jersey licensing, health, and safety requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with children required
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
• Ability to meet all New Jersey childcare licensing and background requirements
