Program Manager Pay Rate: $20.00-$24.00 (based on education and experience)
Program
Hours:
Monday–Friday 7:00 am–9:15 am and 3:15 pm–6:00 pm. Schedule will be based on school location.
- Ensuring safety and joy standards are met by supporting a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities for the staff team. Keeps site documents, licensing standards, and program tasks up to date. Coaches and fosters respectful relationships among staff to address challenges promptly and maintain team cohesion.
- Consistently supports and reports on safety protocols to ensure the well‑being of all participants. Identifies and submits proof of MMR.
- Requires 18+ years of age.
- Requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.

Engages meaningfully with families, partners, peers, and children; responds promptly to inquiries during program hours. - Documentation and Compliance:
Maintains accurate records for student check‑ins and check‑outs; ensures “name to face” attendance procedures are completed per policy. - Daily Routine:
Implements daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.
- Experience working with competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
- High school diploma or GED completed.
- Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs.
- Coursework or training in child development and/or a related field.
- Strong communication skills – oral, written, and visual – with adults and children.
- Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and the community.
- Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
- Ability to meet state‑specific requirements.
- First Aid and CPR – in‑person.
- Cleared tuberculosis test.
- Short & Long Term Disability coverage.
- 6–15 children
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 hours of child‑care training.
- 2 years of experience.
- 16–30 children
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 hours of child‑care training.
- 3 years of experience.
- OR Certificate as a Recreation Technician from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) plus 6 hours of child‑care training and 1 year of experience.
- OR Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate, Group Teacher Approval, or 15 college credits in child development, education, recreation, psychology, health care, nursing or related field plus 6 hours of child‑care training and 1 year of experience.
- OR 15 college credits in unrelated areas plus 6 hours of child‑care training and 2 years of experience.
- 31 or more children
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 6 hours of child‑care training and 3 hours of child‑program‑management training.
- OR Certificate as a Recreation Technician plus 6 hours of child‑care training, 3 hours of child‑program‑management training, and 2 years of experience.
- OR CDA Certificate, Group Teacher Approval, or 15 college credits in child development or related field plus 6 hours of child‑care training, 3 hours of child‑program‑management training, and 2 years of experience.
- OR 15 college credits in unrelated areas plus 6 hours of child‑care training, 3 hours of child‑program‑management training, and 3 years of experience.
