Summary
Roxbury Day Care Center is currently seeking individuals to work part-time mornings from 7:00-10:00 AM. An ideal candidate will have some childcare experience, patience and compassion towards young children.
Responsibilities- To ensure the care, safety and well being of all children in the group.
- To implement simple activities that are developmentally appropriate for their age group.
- To assist with cleaning duties such as washing tables before and after breakfast and at the end of the shift.
- Applicants need a positive attitude and willingness to be a team player.
- Positions open in Infant, Toddler and Preschool Classrooms.
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children.
- Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Child Development Associate Certification
