Construction Project Manager

A full-service construction management and general contracting firm specializing in commercial, healthcare, life sciences, higher education, institutional, and corporate interior projects. Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, and project documentation while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong technical construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience managing complex commercial construction projects. A background in HVAC systems or mechanical construction is highly desirable
, as this role frequently involves coordination of complex mechanical scopes within larger commercial projects.

• Manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate project activities with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination meetings.
• Ensure all project milestones are achieved according to schedule.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost forecasts.
  
  Review subcontractor and vendor proposals and participate in buyout activities.
• Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Manage change orders, owner billing, subcontractor payments, and project reporting.
• Track and maintain financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor or Construction Manager.
• Experience in commercial construction (healthcare, life sciences, higher education, institutional, corporate interiors, or similar markets).
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• HVAC / mechanical construction experience strongly preferred (HVAC systems coordination, mechanical scope management, or MEP-heavy project experience highly valued)
