Location: Oceanport
The Construction Superintendent (Marine / Heavy Civil) will oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role will involve coordinating on-site operations and collaborating with teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Client Details My Client is an award winning Heavy Civil and Marine Contractor based in South Jersey with a presence in Central NJ.
Operations extend into NY, DE, PA DMV, and NJ. Description Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Coordinate and communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project progress. Monitor project schedules and budgets, addressing any issues promptly to maintain project timelines. Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols at the construction site.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and resolve any on-site challenges. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment with project goals and deliverables. Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, fostering a productive work environment. Strong experience in marine and heavy civil construction projects. Knowledge of construction project management and scheduling software. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage on-site teams effectively. Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve project challenges. A commitment to safety and quality standards. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $160,000 annually.
