Percussion InstructorProvide focused instruction for the percussion section of the band (battery and front ensemble).
Teach technique, rhythm reading, and performance skills to percussion students.
Develop and implement percussion-specific warm-ups and exercises.
Assist in arranging or selecting percussion parts for field shows and concert performances.
Work closely with the Band Director and Assistant Band Director to align percussion with full ensemble goals.
Lead sectional rehearsals and provide individual instruction as needed.
Maintain percussion instruments, ensuring proper use and care.
Support student leadership and mentorship within the percussion section.
Attend all marching band rehearsals, performances, and competitions.
Create a positive and productive environment that promotes teamwork and musical excellence.
Salary:
Based on Schedule BPosition - per negotiated DEA Guide: $5,591.00
