As a Social Media & Content Manager, you will shape how Justin Alexander brands show up in culture, from behind the camera to the feed. This is a hands‑on creative role for someone who loves to concept, shoot, and edit social‑first content while owning platform strategy, performance, and overseeing community engagement across a portfolio of brands.
Reporting to the Director of Social Media & Content, you will partner closely with the broader marketing team including Influencer Marketing, Events, PR, Paid Media/Advertising, Sales, as well as Digital Product, and Creative/Merch teams to drive cohesive storytelling, aimed at both B2B and B2C audiences. This role oversees a Social Coordinator and is hybrid with 4 days in office in Springfield, NJ
Responsible For:Platform Strategy & Execution
- Own and execute strategies across key social platforms (Meta, Tik Tok, You Tube, Pinterest) managing a portfolio of 3-4 brands with a focus on growth, engagement, and impact
- Concept, shoot, and edit social-first content across photography and video, translating raw assets into platform-native and breakthrough formats
- Co-manage content calendar, ensuring strategic support for campaigns, launches, and key brand moments
- Identify and monitor current/emerging social trends and cultural moments, applying strong judgment to determine when participation adds value
- Bring structure and consistency to always‑on social content streams (interviews, showroom appointments, B2B partnerships etc.), shifting execution from reactive to planned and intentional
- Define, track, and analyze performance across platforms, leveraging data to optimize content, guide strategy, and identify growth opportunities
- Manage scheduling and publishing platforms to ensure consistent, timely content delivery
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to inform content strategies based on insights, ensuring holistic storytelling cross‑touchpoint
- Partner with the Influencer Manager to ensure impactful creator collaborations are prioritized and aligned with the overall social strategy
- Integrate AI into the creative process to scale ideation and copy development while preserving creative control
- Own brand voice and creative standards across all social output, maintaining consistency in tone and messaging
- Enforce brand safety protocols including content approval and social escalation processes for any sensitive moments
- Maintain organization and management of social assets, keeping content properly organized via DAM systems (QBank, Media Portal, and SharePoint) and easily accessible
- Oversee community management alongside a coordinator, fostering consistent and positive two‑way engagement with audiences on social media
- Act as a mentor to the Social Media Coordinator, supporting development, prioritization, and consistent execution quality
- 5 years of experience in social media management and content creation
- Deep expertise across core social platforms (Meta, Tik Tok, Pinterest, You Tube), including a strong understanding of content creation/formats, platform algorithms, and emerging trends
- Experienced content creator with comfort working both behind and in front of the camera
- Experience mentoring or developing direct reports
- Experience managing social accounts with established audiences, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or retail with a passion for culture and social storytelling
- Strong experience producing short‑form video, lifestyle imagery, and platform‑optimized content
- Proficiency in tools such as Brandwatch, Meta Business Suite, Tik Tok Analytics, and GA4, with a strong ability to analyze data, derive insights, and inform strategy
- Expertise in social and creative production tools, including content scheduling platforms and industry‑standard design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Cap Cut, Canva)
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse cross‑functional partners across levels and areas of expertise
- Passion for fashion, storytelling, and the bridal industry, with a strong understanding of the customer journey from inspiration to purchase
- Knowledge of paid social and how organic social content connects to broader media
This role may require travel to key events, photoshoots, and strategic meetings, not to exceed 20 days per year.
Compensation & BenefitsThis role has an anticipated base salary range of $80,000-$94,000. The final offer will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. Justin Alexander offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
