Overview
Title: Creative Director
Location: Montvale, NJ – on site role
Experience level: 3+ managing creative assets on Amazon
Compensation: $80K-$100K
We are seeking a Creative Director to own and lead all product imagery, video, and Enhanced Brand Content (EBC) across our product catalog. This role is responsible for defining creative direction, overseeing execution, and delivering high-quality visual assets that meet platform standards and drive conversion. The Creative Director ensures consistency, clarity, and performance across all creative output while managing production efficiently and maintaining a high bar for quality in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Own the creative direction for all product images and videos for all items
- Collaborate closely with sales team to understand positioning, buyers intent, and create goals for each item
- Create and own visual concepts for main images, lifestyle images, and infographics, including themes, color schemes, and mood boards
- Develop clear creative briefs and visual concepts for photographers, videographers, and designers
- Manage and oversee photoshoots and video production from concept through final delivery
- Ensure all assets are optimized for conversion, brand consistency, and platform requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced launch environment
- Identify ways to streamline creative workflows while maintaining top-tier output
- Proven experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, or similar role in e-commerce or consumer products
- Strong understanding of Amazon listing imagery, lifestyle photography, infographics, and product video best practices
- Experience working with in house photographers, videographers, and creative vendors
- Ability to balance speed and quality in a high-volume product environment
- Strong project management and communication skills, highly organized, proactive, and able to take full ownership of creative execution
- Data-driven mindset with an understanding of how visuals impact conversion and sales
- Experience with products in the home and kitchen category
- Someone who can move fast, think strategically, and execute flawlessly
- A hands-on creative leader who can turn ideas into high-performing visuals
- A problem-solver who thrives in a high-growth, high-expectation environment
- A flexible, easy to work with personality, open to constructive criticism, and able to pivot quickly when changes or new direction come up.
