Video Reporter
The Record and , one of New Jersey's leading news organizations, is hiring for a reporter who tells stories on video.
Most news reporters are word oriented.
We want this person to be video oriented and produce 3-5 stories a week, everything from shortform vertical content for social feeds to longer-form video stories.

We need a reporter who helps our readers navigate and understand the subject of affordability. We are seeking an ambitious, fast, digitally-minded reporter who is hungry to be first with the news and has the ambition to produce videos that set them apart from the herd.
In this job, you'll come up with ideas, shoot footage and either edit on your own or in collaboration with a visuals staffer. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus in this position.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and adept at growing audience through great content, smart use of social media and promoting their work on TV, podcasts and live radio.
This a grant-funded position and lasts 12 months only from your first day of employment. Any extension beyond those first 12 months is not guaranteed. This position works afternoon and evening hours.
