We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Cafe Staff member at our health & wellness fitness club. Front Desk/Cafe Associate

Available Hours

Weekday Mornings 4:30 am- 11am Saturday or Sunday. 6:30 am- 12pm Opportunity for more hours

Responsibilities
  • Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience from the moment they enter the club.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and assisting members and guests with various requests.
  • Manage the front desk area, including taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Stay up-to-date with the club's services, facilities, and promotions to provide accurate information to members and guests.
  • Operate the cafe area, preparing and serving a variety of healthy snacks and beverages to members and guests.
  • Take orders, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the cafe and front desk area.
  • Monitor inventory levels and let management know when orders for supplies are needed, ensuring that stock is maintained and at appropriate levels.
  • Collaborate with the club management team to develop and implement creative initiatives to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fitness club, spa, or hospitality setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with members, guests, and colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A positive and proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of nutrition and fitness principles is desired but not mandatory.
  • Basic food handling and preparation knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications for administrative tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of POS software for cafe transactions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR/AED Certified
