Are you an experienced dental assistant with a commitment to positive patient experiences? If so, we’d love to talk with you. Our busy dental practice is growing, and we need someone who can provide high-quality dental services to clients and assist our dentist and dental hygienists with examinations and dental procedures. Our ideal candidate has 1 or more years of dental practice experience, a current CDA/X-Ray license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills.

• Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team
• Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records
• Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
• Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
• Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment

• Active BLS/CPR certification is required
• Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed
• Strong interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are essential
• Need to have an Active X-Ray licence

Compensation: $20 - $27 hourly
