- Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable - before, during, and after their appointment - about their treatment and oral health
- Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos
- Prepare and sterilize treatment rooms and equipment
- Provide chair-side assistance to providers during treatment procedures
- Document dental care services by charting in patients' records
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment
- 6+ months of practical experience as a dental assistant
- CPR or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for professional growth
- Well organized, with a solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
