Salary Range: $24.00 To $31.50 Hourly

• Monday: 10:45 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM

As a key member of our team, you will help support smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient care by:

• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories
• Take dental radiographs and impressions as directed by the dentist
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in the practice management system
• Monitor inventory and inform Clinical Lead or Office Manager of supply needs
• Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA protocols to ensure patient and team safety
• Support a team-first culture and uphold Squire Dental’s values in every interaction

Work Environment & Physical Requirements Involving:
Ability to stand, sit, and assist with procedures for extended periods;
Manual dexterity to operate dental instruments and equipment;
May be exposed to blood borne pathogens, chemicals, and infectious materials;
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or on-the-job training
• Active dental assistant certification/license as required by state law
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Preferred:

• 1+ years of experience in a dental assisting role
• Proficiency in dental software systems (Denticon)
