Pediatric Dental Anesthesiologist – Hybrid Pediatric & Adult | Per Diem | 1099 | $3,000/Day | Northern & Central New Jersey

Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned, clinician-led anesthesia group, is seeking an Anesthesiologist

with pediatric dental anesthesia experience to provide office-based anesthesia services in established

dental practices throughout Northern and Central New Jersey.

This is an opportunity to earn $3,000 per clinical day while working in a predictable office-based environment with a

pediatric and adult dental case mix, approximately 4–5 cases per day, and per diem scheduling flexibility
—with no nights, weekends, or call
.

Position Highlights:

• $3,000 per clinical day | 1099
• Per diem scheduling flexibility
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Monday, Tuesday, and Friday options
• Pediatric + adult dental patients
• Typically 4–5 cases per day
• Approximately 1 hour per case, depending on procedure
• General anesthesia and IV sedation
• Established, well-organized dental practices
• Office-based practice—no traditional hospital OR responsibilities
• Locations throughout Northern and Central New Jersey
• Convenient access to locations along the Route 287 corridor

Compensation &

Schedule:

• $3,000 per clinical day | 1099
• No nights, weekends, or call.
• Monday, Tuesday, and Friday options

Practice Profiles:

• Established dental practices w/predictable & well-organized workflow
• 4-5 cases per day
• Pediatric patients approximately 8–15 years of age, along with adult dental patients.
• Work closely with experienced dental teams to coordinate anesthesia care, case flow, and patient recovery.

Case Mix:

• Pediatric dental procedures
• Adult dental procedures
• General anesthesia
• IV sedation
• Office-based anesthesia

Qualifications:

• MD or DO
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology
• Current, unrestricted New Jersey medical license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience with pediatric dental anesthesia and/or office-based anesthesia preferred
• Comfortable providing general anesthesia and/or IV sedation in an office-based environment
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient safety

Locations:

• Northern and Central New Jersey
• Multiple established dental practice locations, including sites with convenient access to the Route 287 corridor.
