Founded in 2005, Harmony Design Group has a passion for building and designing beautiful landscapes. We work on residential projects in New Jersey. Our projects are fast‑paced, high‑end projects.

Compensation and Benefits for our Landscape Designer

We are offering a competitive compensation and benefits package including an annual salary of $75,000 - $90,000 dependent on experience. We offer company sponsored medical benefits, a 401k with profit sharing, 2 weeks of paid vacation, 1 week of paid sick leave, and 6 paid company holidays.

Requirements for the Landscape Designer
  • A Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, landscape design, horticulture or a related field is preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in landscape architecture.
  • Experience using software such as AutoCAD, Sketch‑up, Revit, Photoshop, etc. with the ability to read and create technical drawings including 3D renderings.
  • Understanding of zoning requirements and permit procedures by town/state.
  • Knowledge of products and materials, grading and drainage.
Responsibilities of the Landscape Designer
  • Preparing landscape plans from conceptual design to final design, incorporating all components of a full landscape design plan.
  • Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Acting as a strategic leader on our design/build team.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior landscape designer professionals.
  • Organizing and tracking all town and state permit requirements ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
