Services span site and building analysis, energy and code compliance, design and construction documentation, interior design, bidding and cost analysis, construction administration, LEED consulting, historic preservation, and specification writing. Team members work on projects that balance design quality, technical rigor, and client satisfaction.

The Intermediate Architect will work on-site in Wood-Ridge, NJ in a full-time capacity, contributing to projects from concept through construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with architectural design, preparing drawings and construction documents, and supporting feasibility studies, site and building analysis, and code and ADA compliance reviews. The role involves coordinating with consultants, contractors, and clients, participating in design development, and helping manage project schedules and documentation.

The Intermediate Architect may also support interior design tasks, preparation of models and renderings, and LEED and historic preservation efforts as needed. This position requires a balance of creative design thinking, technical accuracy, and effective collaboration in a small-firm environment.

• Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including experience with building planning, detailing, and documentation.
• Experience with Software Development and Integration related to architectural tools (e.g., BIM and CAD platforms, design/visualization software).
• Demonstrated Project Management abilities, including organizing tasks, tracking milestones, and coordinating with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, or similar) and familiarity with building codes, ADA, and energy code compliance.
• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) and progress toward or interest in architectural licensure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and within a small team setting.
• Experience with commercial, residential, or municipal projects and interest in LEED and historic preservation is beneficial.
