Overview:
Cooper University Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Endocrinologist to join our Cooper Care Alliance Network in the Cape May, NJ region. This full-time opportunity allows you to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where culture is top tier and innovation drives care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and manage chronic endocrine conditions.
- Collaborate with primary care providers, specialists, and care teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to clinical protocols and best practices.
- Assist in hospital consultations and rounding according to a set schedule.
- Educate patients and families on disease management and lifestyle modifications.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation, ordering, and communication.
Qualifications:
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Licenses: Valid and unrestricted medical license in New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain), DEA license, and current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Experience: Experience in ambulatory or outpatient care settings preferred.
- Commitment: Dedication to culturally competent, equitable, patient-centered care and team collaboration.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
