We are seeking an experienced General Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Neptune City, New Jersey. This position offers a predominantly outpatient practice with a focus on General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, and Endocrine Surgery in a collaborative, physician-led environment.
Compensation: $115 Per Hour Position Details- Practice Setting: 90% Outpatient | 10% Inpatient

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - Call:
None
- Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient surgical clinic.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care for general, oncology, and endocrine surgery patients.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Assist with inpatient consultations and postoperative management as needed.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, recovery, and ongoing treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
