"Non-Invasive Cardiology Locum Opportunity New Jersey

Position Overview Seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for ongoing inpatient coverage and weekend call support beginning in July 2026. This opportunity is part of a large cardiology team with support from multiple cardiologists and hospital resources.

Compensation:

Overtime: $310/hr24 Hour On Call: $2570 per 24 hours

Schedule

Coverage beginning July 2026

Ongoing need Typically 12 week assignments

Monday through Friday Day schedule: 8:00 AM 4:00 PMWeekend call coverage required

Approximately 2+ weekends per month

Weekend call does not need to be consecutive

Practice Setting Inpatient/Cardiology Coverage Hospital-based practice

Level II Trauma Center Patient Population Adult and Geriatric patients

Volume & Team Approximately 20 patients per day
24 cardiologists within the group

Other cardiologists will be present during coverage

No supervision of advanced practice providers required

Required Procedures Echocardiography Transesophageal  Echocardiography (TEE)
Electrocardiogram (EKG) interpretation

Treadmill Stress Testing Requirements Required Board  Certified in Cardiology Cardiology Fellowship TrainingBLS CertificationACLS Certification Active New Jersey License or willingness to obtain

Preferred

Experience with Cerner/Oracle EMREMROracle / Cerner Credentialing Estimated  credentialing timeframe: 3060 days

Travel

Travel assistance available in accordance with facility guidelines.
