Vanguard Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our family medicine practice in Farmingdale, NJ. In this role, you will provide comprehensive patient care, build meaningful relationships with patients, promote preventive health and wellness, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, vaccinations, and preventive services.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing and review medical records and clinical data to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate patient medical histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and reports.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
  • Clearly communicate diagnoses, test results, treatment options, and recommended next steps with patients.
  • Counsel patients on preventive health, nutrition, physical activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals when additional services are needed.
  • Collaborate with nurses, social workers, rehabilitation therapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and other members of the care team to support coordinated patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement efforts and initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Family Medicine required.
  • Valid and unrestricted New Jersey medical license.
  • Two or more years of experience in family medicine or primary care preferred.
  • Ability to manage a diverse patient population while supporting quality and population health initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency with electronic medical records;
    Athena experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively use clinical data to support patient care and outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • May require light lifting (up to 20 lbs.) for supplies or office materials.
  • Must have visual and auditory acuity to operate computer systems and phones.

Compensation and Benefits:

The anticipated annual compensation for this position ranges from $210,000-$280,000, depending on the role and experience level. Additionally, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and other company-sponsored benefits.
