Shall functions as a member of the Villa Marie Claire Security Team providing security services to patients, staff and visitors. In addition, security officers will be knowledgeable of hospital security systems and procedures, local, state, federal guidelines, (related to safety and asset protection) and OSHA, NFPA and JC standards. Will support concierge as needed

• Immediate intervention in any situation posing a substantial threat to the life and safety of any individual on/or in property owned or controlled by the facility i.e. code gray, code red, code blue, patient watches, etc
• Performs vehicle and foot patrol of all buildings, parking lots and grounds to prevent fires, theft and vandalism. Inspects doors, windows and locks to determine level of security
• Ensures through visual identification, that only authorized individuals are admitted onto medical center premises. Issues keys to authorized facility personnel and documents appropriately into log book
• Demonstrate a courteous, professional, understanding and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, staff, visitors, physicians and others
• Escorts staff and visitors to and from the parking lot as requested. Assists motorists who require assistance on facility…
