• Prospective Student Engagement:
  Connect with prospective students, families, high school counselors, and community partners to share information about RVCC; represent RVCC at recruitment events (high school visits, college fairs, community presentations) in-person and virtually; promote RVCC’s academic and workforce programs with emphasis on affordability and access (including the Community College Opportunity Grant, Financial Aid, RVCC Scholarships, and NJ STARS); encourage and assist prospective students in completing the admissions application.
• Admissions Support:
  Provide clear, accurate information about the admissions and enrollment process; respond to general inquiries regarding academic programs, deadlines, and campus resources; offer general support to the Enrollment Center as needed.
• Relationship Building:
  Maintain positive relationships with high school staff, community leaders, and other stakeholders; serve as a point of contact for prospective students and select school territories with timely and professional communication.
• Recruitment Strategy Assistance:
  Collaborate with the Enrollment Management team on recruitment initiatives and outreach strategies; record and monitor outreach activities using the College’s CRM system to support timely and effective student follow-up.
• Event Participation:
  Assist in planning and attending recruitment events, campus tours, information sessions, and webinars; support event logistics and provide a welcoming experience for prospective students and families.
• Admissions Process
  
  Education:
  
  Help students understand steps and timelines involved in applying and enrolling; coordinate with First-Year Advisors to ensure a smooth transition from admission to enrollment.

• Required:
  
  Associate’s degree; experience delivering professional presentations/speeches and sharing information with a diverse population in person, electronically, and via phone; proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to a database system with ability to create standard documents and reports; strong organizational skills with attention to detail; exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communications; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel within an assigned territory;
  
  work hours vary and include evening and weekend events.
• Preferred:
  Bilingual - Spanish;
  Bachelor’s degree; previous experience in recruitment, admissions counseling, or related area.

• Physical Requirements:
  
  Requires sitting, standing, bending, walking, and climbing; lift and carry items up to 20 pounds for distances up to 50 feet; handling equipment up to 20 pounds while pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting, and reaching.
